Red Clay 602 Late Model Series Kicks Off 2025 Campaign Saturday At Senoia Raceway

Story By: RYAN DELPH / RED CLAY 602 LATE MODEL SERIES – BRASSTOWN, NC – The highly-anticipated 2025 season for the Red Clay 602 Late Model Series will officially get underway this Saturday evening, March 1 at Senoia Raceway.

Drivers competing in the 602 Late Model special at the historic Senoia, Georgia oval will be vying for a $2,500 first place prize. In all, over $10,000 in purse and posted awards will be up for grabs for the 602s on Saturday at Senoia Raceway.

The Red Clay 602 Late Model Series would like to thank Knowles Race Parts and Bodies, who will be presenting the pole sitter at each series race with a $100 store credit. A heartfelt thanks also goes out to C&S Auto Electric for generously providing $200 for the long haul award and $200 for the hard luck award at Senoia Raceway this weekend. Another $100 will be on the line for the hard charger award courtesy of Smashers by 121.

On Saturday at Senoia, the pit gates will open at 2:00pm and the grandstands will start to allow fans into the facility at 4:00pm. The local Drivers Meeting will begin at 4:30pm, while Hot Laps will take to the racetrack at 5:00pm. Racing action will then fire up on the gray gumbo starting at approximately 7:00pm. Along with the Red Clay 602 Late Model Series, the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series ($10,053 to win), Enduro ($2,500 to win), and Charger divisions are on the racing card.

Grandstand admission will be $30.00 for adults and FREE for kids ages 12 and under. Pit admission will be $40.00 for adults, $20.00 for kids ages 6-12, and FREE for children ages 5 and under. Senoia Raceway is located at 171 Brown Road in Senoia, GA 30276.

The Red Clay 602 Late Model Series tire rule for Senoia is open on the front, American Racer Pro2 on the left rear, and American Racer Pro2 or Pro4 on the right rear. There will be a $300 bonus if American Racers are on at least three corners of the winning car. The entry fee will be $80.00 and transponders will be available to rent.
