Ben Watkins Scores Carolina Clash Victory Saturday At County Line Raceway

Story By: MARK HUEY / CAROLINA CLASH SUPER LATE MODEL SERIES – ELM CITY, NC – The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series traveled to County Line Raceway located in Elm City, North Carolina on Saturday March 8th for the “Spring Sizzler” event paying $5,000 to win.
The event was also the 2025 season opener event for the Carolina Clash tour.
Two time Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series champion Ben Watkins of Rock Hill, South Carolina led flag to flag Saturday at County Line Raceway to score his fifteenth career victory with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series worth $5,000.
Ethan Wilson, Adam Yarbrough, Bobby Liles, and Dalton Peavy rounded out the top five finishers. The fast qualifier of the event was Dustin Mitchell with a time of 13.939 seconds. B-Main winners included Brent Robinson and Austin Holcombe.
The hard Charger of the event was Jake Jackson (Started 21st / Finished 10th).
