Ben Watkins Wins Fifth-Straight Red Rose Rumble At Lancaster Motor Speedway
Story By: KELLEY CARLTON / SOUTHERN THUNDER SUPER DIRT SERIES – LANCASTER, SC – Ben Watkins defended his home turf on Saturday night as he outdueled Zack Mitchell to win his fifth-straight Red Rose Rumble title.
Watkins started on the outside pole for the 40-lap main event and took the lead from the intial start.
Defending a mid-race charge from Mitchell, Watkins coasted the remainder of the race to secure the $7,500 payday.
