Port Royal Speedway’s Set For An Exciting Short Track Super Series Weekend

Story By: BRAD STRAWSER / PORT ROYAL SPEEDWAY – PORT ROYAL, PA – Port Royal Speedway is gearing up for an action-packed weekend as the Bob Hilbert’s Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) invades the Speed Palace on Friday and Saturday, bringing two nights of thrilling modified competition to the Juniata County half-mile oval.
Friday Night: Short Track Super Series Qualifying Night
The weekend kicks off on Friday, featuring qualifying action for the STSS Modifieds, 602 Crate Modifieds, and Pro Stocks. Drivers will battle for starting positions ahead of Saturday’s main events, setting the stage for a night of intense, door-to-door racing.
- General Admission: $15
- Two-Day General Admission Pass: $50

- Weekend Pit Pass (Friday practice & race, Saturday): $115
Camping options for the weekend include electric sites available for $200 and dry camping for $100, with select electric sites open for reservation via the speedway website.
Saturday Night: The Short Track Super Series Speed Showcase
Saturday’s feature event, the Speed Showcase, will see the STSS Modifieds battling for 60 laps with a $12,000 payday awaiting the winner. The 602 Crate Modifieds will contest a 40-lap feature for a $4,000 top prize, while the Pro Stocks will compete in a 25-lap feature paying $1,250 to win.
