RPW Exclusive: A Roaring Start To The ’25 Season At Rockfish Speedway Saturday Night

Column By: CHARLES WISLER / RPW – RAEFORD, NC – The 2025 season opener at Rockfish Speedway delivered a night of non-stop excitement, with thrilling races across all divisions.

From the youngest competitors to seasoned veterans, the action on the dirt track kept fans on the edge of their seats.

The evening kicked off with the highly anticipated Junior Sprints race. Young talents Noah Morgan and Mason Rosser engaged in a fierce battle for the lead throughout the 15-lap contest. In a nail-biting finish, Mason Rosser emerged victorious, showcasing impressive skill and determination.

Next up, the 600 Micro Sprints took to the track, featuring a packed field of 20 cars, including several out-of-state competitors. Brody Snyder of Mooresville, NC, started from the pole position and dominated the race, maintaining a commanding lead to secure the win, and a high octane celebration. Trevor Gach from Pennsylvania put on a strong showing, finishing in second place, followed by Aidan Turner in third.

The Winged 270s feature continued the night’s high-octane action. Landon Poulk, starting in second, demonstrated exceptional driving prowess, maneuvering his way to the front and claiming the top spot.

In the Carolina Mod Lites division, Eddie Daniels, starting from pole, delivered a flawless performance. Despite intense pressure from Zach Blackwell, who relentlessly challenged for the lead, Daniels held his ground and crossed the finish line first. The racing between those two drivers kept the crowd fully engaged.

The season opener at Rockfish Speedway proved to be a resounding success, setting the stage for an action-packed year of racing. Fans can look forward to more thrilling events as the season progresses.
