Story By: JIM CLARKE / BROCKVILLE ONTARIO SPEEDWAY – BROCKVILLE, ONT – From either side of the fence, the local racing scene has long been home to many familiar names. At Brockville Ontario Speedway, one of the sports best known names is Splash Well Drilling.

Based in Prescott, Ontario, the firm’s corporate branding has been featured on the family-owned the No. 44 Sportsman and Small Block Modified equipment fielded by Johnathon Ferguson, as well as 358 Modified rides campaigned recently by multi-time Brockville Speedway track champion Danny O’Brien and Crate Sprint Car titleholder Matt Billings.

With the popular Eastern Ontario oval’s 2025 schedule slated for a Saturday, May 10th kick-off, track owner and promoter Paul Kirkland is happy to have Splash Well Drilling serve as presenting sponsor for the Saturday, August 16th show, with a second Pro Stock tour date and the final event in the 3-race BOS Mini Stock Series, in addition to the weekly 358 Modified, Sportsman-Modified and Novice Sportsman divisions.

“Our staff has always enjoyed a strong relationship with company owner Todd Ferguson and the Splash Well Drilling team,” said Paul Kirkland. “As things were reopening following COVID, they stepped-up to the plate to lend their name to our first post-pandemic night of racing. That’s the type of people they are. Always doing what is best for the sport.”

For residential, commercial and environmental drilling, Splash Well Drilling is a family-run company that has been in business since 1986. Offering 6, 8, 12 and 12-inch water wells, the company also provides pump installation, drilled and dug well decommissioning and well upgrades.

Another exciting season of home track racing at Brockville Ontario Speedway is closer than you think. Start making your plans for Saturday night action at ‘The BOS’, with the year’s first green set for May 10th.

The 2025 schedule will see a variety of special events including the return of the Ogilvie’s Auto & Fleet Triple Crown Series for 358 Modified and Sportsman-Mods, a pair of Empire Super Sprint Car Series dates and Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modified shows Wednesday, July 30th and Friday, October 17th.
