Fulton’s Annual Highbank Holdup Opening Weekend Hots The Track Friday & Saturday

Story By: DAVE MEDLER / FULTON SPEEDWAY – FULTON, NY – Coming off a successful Test & Tune this past Tuesday that saw over 80 cars take to the track, the Fulton Speedway is primed for the highly anticipated and popular Jammer’s Highbank Holdup Weekend this Friday & Saturday, April 25-26.
Friday, Stirling Lubricants will present night one of the Highbank Holdup Weekend featuring the methanol breathing ‘Winged Warriors’ of the Empire Super Sprints who annually bring the best 360 Sprint Car racers from the Northeastern United States, plus the Canadian Provinces of Ontario, and Quebec.
Also on track Friday night will be a $500-to-win Billy Whittaker Cars and Trux Hobby Stock Open, AmeriCU Credit Union Mod Lites, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman, and the Classics on Dirt Vintage Car Series. Hot laps for Tracey Road DIRTcar Modifieds, DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman and Mirabito DIRTcar Four Cylinder Super Stocks will also be on the card.

Saturday, the DIRTcar 358-Modified Series will kick off their 2025 season with the Highbank Holdup 60. Defending Tracey Road DIRTcar Modified Track Champion Tim Sears Jr, Billy Dunn, Dave Marcuccilli, Amy Holland, Lance Willix, plus a stout field of weekly competitors will be looking to keep the ‘Highbank Holdup’ gold at home.
Defending DIRTcar 358-Modified Series Champion Felix Roy out of Napierville, Quebec, plus Mat Williamson from St. Catharines, Ontario who won the 2024 Outlaw 200 and the last ‘Highbank Holdup’ held at the speedway will lead a strong contingent will be looking to take the cash home from the track regulars.
Fulton’s DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman will be on tap competing for a coveted Outlaw 200 Weekend Industrial Tire of CNY Sportsman Shootout qualifying spot while RL Cleaning will present a $1000-to-win Four cylinder open to round out the big Saturday card.
