Lernerville Speedway’s 2025 Season’s Drawing Closer; Tickets On Sale Now

Story By: GARY HEEMAN / LERNERVILLE SPEEDWAY – SARVER, PA – The gates open up on the 2025 season soon, as we prepare for one of if not the most complete schedule of events in terms of weekly racing, special events and marquee events in speedway history.

There will be even more money on the line, some of the richest events in the area, a new weekly series and much more to look forward to as Mother Nature loosens her grip and lets the sunshine come through in the coming weeks.

We kick off the action with a taste of what’s to come on Friday, April 18 on our first Test & Tune night of the season as drivers shake down their entries and adjust their machines in preparation of a full slate of events.

Opening Night Edges Closer-Fab4 Racing On Tap

The first official green flag drops with Fab4 Racing Revved UP with Marburger Farm Dairy, on Friday, April 25. The Peoples Natural Gas Sprint Cars, Glassmere Fuel Service Late Models, Diehl Automotive Big Block Modifieds and Millerstown Pic-A-Part Pro Stocks will all be in action, kicking off their points chase. There will be 15 Fab4 Friday night’s in 2025, with occasional appearances for the RUSH Late Models and an appearance from the Allegheny Sprint Tour 305s as they fill in for an absent division. The only weekly show in the world that features Winged 410 Sprint Cars, Super Late Models and Big Block Modifieds has been an Action Track staple for years and has become the region’s meeting place to kick off the weekend of racing for decades.

Dirt.Tv 3 Wide Sunday’s Debut in 2025

For the first time in the fifty plus year history of Lernerville Speedway, Sunday evening racing will become a semi-regular thing as the inaugural Dirt.TV 3-Wide Sunday Night Series prepares to make history at The Action Track starting with the series opener on Sunday, April 27. The five event series will feature a three division format with the Peoples Natural Gas Sprint Cars, Diehl Automotive Big Block Modifieds and the Allegheny Sprint Tour 305’s all in action. There will be a points fund, separate from our Fab 4 Friday Night point standings, for the series which will also race on May, 4, June 8, July 6, and August 3.

Firecracker 100; Second Annual Firecracker Fest On Tap in June

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will make their first of two Action Track appearances June 19-21 for the 18th annual Firecracker 100 which brings together top national touring drivers from all over the country to take on the stars of the Lucas Oil Series plus the best of the best among area pilots as they compete for three straight nights, culminating in the $50,000-to-win Firecracker 100 finale. Once again, the RUSH Late Models will join the weekend of racing as they take part in one of the richest Crate Late Model races in the country in the $20,000-to-win Bill Emig Memorial presented by Sunoco Race Fuels.

The inaugural Firecracker Fest was such a huge success in 2024 that it returns once again in 2025. Our outdoor arena behind the back stretch will once again play host to SEBRA Bull Riding and Barrel Racing and Christie Huff in concert. Kubota High Limit Sprint Cars Once Again All In for Silver Cup and Commonwealth Clash

The World’s Finest Sprint Car Drivers will once again call Lernerville Speedway home twice in 2025 as the $25,000-to-win Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup (Silver Cup XXXIV) will keep fans on the edge of their seats on Tuesday, July 22. Meanwhile, the richest Sprint Car weekend in the area returns to The Action Track, starting on Friday, September 12 with preliminary night and continuing on Saturday, September 13 with the $50,000-to-win Commonwealth Clash.

Lucas Oil Lates Return for Hillbilly Hundred

The Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series returns for a second time in 2025 as the legendary “Hillbilly Hundred” has been relocated to The Action Track this season. Join us for night one on Friday, August 29 as the stars of the Lucas Oil Series dazzle those in attendance for a second event, culminating in the $30,000-to-win finale on Saturday, August 30.

Western PA Sprint Speedweek; 3 BRP Modified Tour Dates; McConnell Memorial Make These Friday Nights Must See

While Fab4 Racing Revved UP with Marburger Farm Dairy is always a must see event. However, within our Friday night slate of events are some very special events that fans will not want to miss. On Friday, May 9, there will be extra money on the line for the Glassmere Fuel Service Late Models as the Willie and Conda McConnell Memorial takes place plus the rest of our Fab4 racing divisions. The Peoples Natural Gas Sprint Cars will once again take part in the $4,000-to-win Jean Lynch Classic as part of Western PA Sprint Speedweek on Friday, May 30 with the remainder of the Fab4 on the card as well. The BRP Modified Tour will make three appearances at The Action Track in 2025 as the Diehl Automotive Big Block Modifieds take center stage with extra money on the line. The tour will make stops on Friday, May 16, July 11 and also on August 1. And don’t forget, our Fan Appreciation Night with Fireworks presented by #1 Cochran Automotive will take place this year on Friday, June 27.
