New Egypt Welcomes Month Of May With Hopes Of Getting 2025 Season Underway
Story By: CHRIS MOORE / NEW EGYPT SPEEDWAY – NEW EGYPT, NJ – May Flowers. After a brutal month of April which featured three rainouts, New Egypt Speedway welcomes the month of May to kick off the 2025 Championship Season.
The season begins on Saturday, May 3 as John Blewett Inc. presents Pemberton Township School Night at the speedway.
The Modifieds headline the program with the Swagger Factory Apparel Crate Sportsman, Xtreme Diesel Performance, LLC. (XDP) Street Stocks, Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars (NEWS), and Fastline Performance Rookies joining the affair.
The night will also feature silent auctions and raffles as part of a fundraiser for the Pemberton Township Schools.
For the May 3 event, pit gates open at 3 p.m. with the grandstands unlocking at 4 p.m. Hot laps begin at 5 p.m. with racing to follow at 6 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $23 for adults, $20 for Seniors (65 and up), and $15 for Military w/ID and Teens (12-15). Kids 11 and under are admitted FREE.
Pemberton Township School Students get in FREE with student ID.
Pit admission is $40 (w/o a license) and $30 (w/ a license).
