Story By: KENNY SHUPP / OUTLAW SPEEDWAY – DUNDEE, NY – After a month of April that was filled with rain, cold temperatures and even a few snow flurries, Outlaw Speedway owner, Tyler Siri and his staff are ready to flip the calendar to May and begin the tracks sixty-eighth consecutive year of action with the first full point paying show of the 2025 campaign.

“We had everything in place for a good April schedule, claimed Siri. The surface weathered the harsh winter very well, all our off-season improvements were completed, all my staff is in place, and we were set up for no less than two very high-profile events to kick off the season in the Lucas Oil Nationals and the Cal Lane Memorial. Unfortunately, Mother nature took care of both, however we did get in the Mike Jackson Memorial albeit under some cold conditions, but the surface was in fabulous condition which is going to set us up for the rest of the year.”

The Friendly Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Modifieds will headline the Super 5 Show where the winner of the thirty-five-lap feature will walk away with a check for $3068.

The $68 is symbolic for sixty-eight years of continuous race action at Outlaw Speedway.

It is also anticipated the Fritz Masonry Youth Bandits will make their first start of 2025.

Sponsoring the Annual Roy Silvers Memorial will be Buckley’s Tire and Brake of Horseheads, NY.

Jody Buckley is a racer himself competing in the tough pavement Modified division throughout the northeast and he knows full well the value of marketing his company through Motorsports.

Unfortunately, Roy was taken from us too soon in life after a hard -fought battle with Covid19 on December 1, 2020. Roy was just sixty-six years old, but his memory still lives on at the Outlaw Speedway as he will be recognized with a night in his name on Friday, May 2, 2025.

The Outlaw Speedway offers a pair of watering holes including the Grandstand Seating, Turn 4 Tavern as well as the Pit Area Outlaw Saloon with both carrying a wide selection of iced cold beer.

Camping is always free at Outlaw Speedway and fans are encouraged to bring their rigs, have a campfire and enjoy the night of competition.
