RPW Exclusive: Rev Up For ‘Beach Bash 5’ This Weekend At Lake View Motor Speedway
Column By: CHARLES WISLER / RPW – NICHOLS, SC – Get ready for a high-octane weekend as Lake View Motor Speedway in Nichols, South Carolina, is set to host the thrilling SCDRA Beach Bash 5!
With a cool $5,000 prize awaiting the SCDRA feature winner, this weekend promises edge-of-your-seat racing action and plenty of off-track fun.
The excitement kicks off this Friday with a can’t-miss Pit Party. Starting in the afternoon, fans can dive into a delicious Southern feast featuring a classic pig pickin’, fresh shrimp, and a variety of other tasty treats. The Renegade Jason Ray Welch Band will be providing the live soundtrack for the evening, ensuring a lively and enjoyable atmosphere for all.
Adding to Friday’s lineup is a Crown Vic race, offering some early on-track thrills. Additionally, all racing classes will have the opportunity to get their machines dialed in during open practice sessions in preparation for Saturday’s main events. Tickets for Friday, which include admission to the pit party and all the mouthwatering food, are just $10.
The racing action intensifies on Saturday with a packed schedule featuring a diverse range of classes. Fans can look forward to fierce competition in the SCDRA series, alongside the always-exciting Late Models, Street Stocks, 602 Modifieds, Stock V8, Bell & Bell Vintage Modifieds, and the fan-favorite Juicebox division.
The green flag for Saturday’s racing is scheduled to wave at 5:30 pm.
Grandstand tickets for Saturday’s adrenaline-pumping races are available for $20, and kids aged 8 and under get in absolutely free, making it a perfect weekend outing for the whole family.
