Story By: BRIAN WALKER / HIGH LIMIT RACING – PORT ROYAL, PA – Pennsylvanian’s love protecting their palace, and boy did they do a good job on Saturday night at Port Royal Speedway.

“The Keystone State” natives completely swept the podium and PA Posse racers accounted for seven of the top-10 finishers as Kubota High Limit Racing returned to the best borough in the country for the expanded and elevated Bob Weikert Memorial.

Gettysburg, PA’s Danny Dietrich, the defending Bob Weikert Memorial champion, led the field to green aboard his special Weikert #29 scheme, but it was Fayetteville, PA’s Lance Dewease who took the early lead.

Dewease paced the opening five laps of the 25-lapper aboard Barry Shearer’s #12 until the only caution of the race flew on Lap 5 and setup a restart with 20 to go. With Dewease choosing the outside, he opened the door for Myerstown, PA’s Brent Marks to line up on his inside and attack him as the green flew.

Marks quickly pounced on Dewease and took the lead on Lap 6 and he never looked back. It never got too far out of hand as Marks constantly battled back markers in lap traffic and kept Dewease within striking distance, but a feud for the lead could not materialize.

The Murray-Marks Motorsports #19 crossed the line with a 1.255-second margin of victory to cash a $20,000 check. The win marked the 16th of Marks’ career at Port Royal Speedway and his fifth-ever trip to Whiskey Myers Victory Lane with Kubota High Limit Racing, his second in 2025.

PA Posse legend Lance Dewease held on to finish a career-best second-place with Kubota High Limit Racing and also nabbed the Jake’s Golf Carts Fastest Lap Award on his way. The 59-year-old will be one to watch tomorrow as the intensity rises with $100,000 and his fourth Bob Weikert Memorial bull-head on the line.

Kunkletown, PA’s Ryan Smith completed a sweep of the podium for Pennsylvania natives, also marking his career-best with Kubota High Limit Racing. That’s now back-to-back podiums for the Kreitz Racing #69K with the series, one coming with Christopher Bell at Grandview and now Smith at “The Speed Palace.”

Closing out the top-10 on Saturday was Justin Peck, Logan Wagner, Aaron Reutzel, Danny Dietrich, Anthony Macri, Tyler Courtney, and Justin Whittall.

With Brad Sweet’s 19th-place finish, the Kubota High Limit Racing championship battle now showcases a whopping six teams within 100 points of the title lead. The most competitive points battle in the country is highlighted by the Kasey Kahne Racing #49, the Clauson-Marshall Racing #7BC, the Murray-Marks Motorsports #19, the Rico Abreu Racing #24, the Ridge & Sons Racing #87, and the Rudeen Racing #26.
