Come Out & Enjoy For A Buck! Dollar Night This Saturday At The Fonda Speedway

After four rained out events so far during the 2025 season, to get out of the house, get away from Flo Racing on TV, and come out to the Fonda Speedway to see some live racing action on $1 Grandstand Admission Night presented by Mirabito “The Energy Leader”. What a great opportunity to bring someone to the track that has never experienced a live stock car race at Fonda.
As a matter of fact, you may be able to get in for free as many sponsors have signed up to donate money towards the $1 grandstand admission tickets. As of Wednesday evening on the Fonda Speedway Facebook page, the number was at 1500 fans that could attend the event at Fonda for FREE!
Before the racing action hits the track, seven individuals will be inducted into the prestigious Fonda Speedway Hall of Fame. The event begins at 1:00 p.m. rain or shine at the Fonda Speedway Hall of Fame & Museum.
Inductees this year include drivers Paul Jensen and Walter “Pepper” Eastman; track officials John Bacon, Orville “Bud” Countryman, and Leslie “Les” Kellerhouse; photographer Bob Lansing; crew member, car owner, motor builder, and tech inspector Mike Ketchum.
All regular divisions will be in action this Saturday at Fonda including the Amsterdam Truck Center Modifieds, the Swagger Factory Apparel Sportsman, the Leatherstocking Credit Union Pro Stocks, the Montgomery County Office for Aging Inc. Limited Sportsman, the Fonda Fair Four Cylinders, and the Mohawk Valley Vintage Dirt Modified Racing Series (MVVDMS) are on the racing card.
The Mohawk Valley Vintage Dirt Modified Series (MVVDMS) will be honoring one of racing’s number one fans and a huge presence at the Fonda Speedway, the late Don Gras. The MVVDMS is looking to get in their first point race of the 2025 season with five exciting divisions that represent the many eras of racings past events going back to the Late 60’s.
The five divisions include the DKM Fabrication MVVDMS Modified Division, the Red Chair Guy MVVDMS Antique Division, the Billy Yurkewecz Auto Crusher MVVDMS Late Model Division, the Elmo’s Speed & Supply MVVDMS Mystique Division, and the Parks Companies Inc. MVVDMS Sportsman Division.
Three entertaining features for the Fonda Speedway Fans to enjoy will determine the five division winners. The Northeast Stock Car Old Timers (NESCOT) will be giving out bonus money to eight drivers that are members. Tow money will be given to each driver that participates in this huge event where close to forty cars are expected by the Don Gras Family and Friends. MVVDMS valuable sponsors will also add to the tow money for the series dedicated drivers.
