Extra $$$ On The Line Friday At Lernerville; Willie & Conda McConnell Memorial Takes Center Stage

Story By: GARY HEEMAN / LERNERVILLE SPEEDWAY – SARVER, PA – Fab4 Racing Revved UP with Marburger Farm Dairy is finally set to kick off for the 2025 season and with a favorable weather forecast to boot!

However, it’s not any normal Fab4 race night as the annual “Willie and Conda McConnell Memorial will be taking center stage!

Originated by John McConnell, creator of The Garage Crawl Presented by The Rockhouse Bar and Grille, a Facebook segment featuring live interviews with area drivers from their garages, the memorial will bring extra money to the racing on Friday night, thanks to a variety of sponsors which McConnell had arranged in advance.

The Peoples Natural Gas Sprint Cars, Glassmere Fuel Service Late Models, Diehl Automotive Big Block Modifieds and the Millerstown Pic-A-Part Pro Stocks will all be in action with the Late Models and Pro Stocks seeing their first action of the year at The Action Track. The Sprints and Late Models can both look forward to a nice $3,000-to-win payday in their respective divisions while the Big Blocks will be racing for a handsome $2,300-to-win and the Pro Stocks will battle for a cool $1,150 top prize.

Thus far, the Peoples Sprints and Diehl Modifieds have had one opportunity to race each with those coming on Sunday, April 27 during the inaugural running of the Dirt.TV 3-Wide Sunday Series. On that afternoon, the Steel City Outlaw, Tim Shaffer took the honors in a stout performance during the 25 lap, Peoples Natural Gas Sprint Car main event while former four time track champion Mat Williamson made the haul from St.Catharines,Ontario to take home the trophy in the Diehl Automotive Big Block Modified feature. The pits held a robust 23 Sprint Cars and 26 Modifieds that evening, with a healthy number of invaders from outside the area stopping by.

Pits will open at 4 PM on Friday night with grandstands opening at 5 PM and racing set for 7:30 PM. For those unable to attend, the racing will be available for streaming LIVE on our platform at Dirt.TV.
