Port Royal Speedway’s Set For Action-Packed Bob Weikert Memorial Weekend

Story By: BRAD STRAWSER / PORT ROYAL SPEEDWAY – PORT ROYAL, PA – Port Royal Speedway is proud to present the 2025 Bob Weikert Memorial weekend—a three-day celebration of one of the sport’s iconic car owners from Thursday, May 22 through Sunday, May 25.
Featuring the Kubota High Limit Racing 410 Sprint Cars all three nights, Zimmerman Truck Repair Limited Late Models, and Wingless Super Sportsman, this Memorial Day weekend promises something for fans of all ages both on and off the track.
THURSDAY, MAY 22 – Bob Weikert Memorial Golf Tournament
The weekend begins with the Bob Weikert Memorial Golf Tournament at Lost Creek Golf Course.
Flight 1 Registration: 7:00 AM

Proceeds benefit the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing
FRIDAY, MAY 23 – Night One of Racing
All Gates Open: 4:00 PM
Port Royal Fan Zone: 4:00–6:15 PM
Fans of all ages can enter to win different prizes all 3 nights courtesy of the Port Royal Speedway Ministries and Wings of Kindness in the fan zone in front of the commercial building. Prizes will vary each night. All 3 nights, fans can enter to win a 40” Vizio Smart TV to be drawn on Sunday. Kids age 17 and under can enter to win the weekly Jr. Fan of the Night all 3 nights for a chance to win a unique fan experience including: riding in the pace truck, waving the green flag for a qualifying race, a free diecast race trailer courtesy of the Port Royal Speedway Novelty Stand, a free hot dog and soda courtesy of Packer’s Concessions, and a $10 Packer’s Concessions voucher courtesy of Juniata Med Trans.
Weikert’s Kids Bag Raffle: 4:00–7:00 PM
Kids age 12 and under can enter for free for a chance to win a gift bag full of fantastic prizes courtesy of the Weikert family at the Port Royal Speedway fan zone.
Cow Plop Bingo Tickets on Sale: 4:00–7:00 PM ($5 each)
Fans can purchase tickets to “Cow Plop Bingo” at the Port Royal Speedway fan zone. The “Cow Plop Bingo” event will take place in the ag barn on Sunday at 10AM where the winner will be determined. Proceeds will benefit the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing.
Shootin’ The Bull w/ Brad Strawser: 4:30–5:30 PM (Commercial Building)
Brad Strawser will host a pre-race show all 3 nights of the weekend interviewing drivers, previewing the upcoming race, and giving fans insight on all the events going on during the weekend inside the commercial building.
Junior Fan of the Night Drawn / Pit Walk: 6:15 PM
Hot Laps: 6:15 PM
Opening Ceremonies: 7:25 PM
Racing Divisions:

Post-Race Entertainment: Live music by Gravy in the Commercial Building
While leaving their seats after the racing activities, fans can make their way inside the Commercial Building to enjoy a live music performance from the band Gravy.
SATURDAY, MAY 24 – Weikert Memorial Fallen Heroes Championship presented by Folkes Brothers Trucking
Mid Penn Weikert Memorial Cornhole Tournament presented by DUMOR: 9:30 AM
Fans of all ages can enter for a chance to win in the Mid Penn Weikert Memorial Cornhole Tournament. Fans are encouraged to arrive at 9:30AM with registration starting at 10AM. The event will be held rain or shine. Entry fee is $40 per team of 2. If a fan doesn’t have a partner, they are still encouraged to come as the organization will attempt to find them a partner. Top 4 teams will receive payout. There will also be a 50/50 drawing and bag raffles throughout the event.
Kids Bike Parade: 12:00 PM (Meet at Barn at 11:45 AM)
Kids will have the opportunity to parade throughout the Port Royal Speedway grounds showing off their wheels on Saturday. Kids are encouraged to deck out their bike for this event, meet at the Ag barn and will begin their parade tour around the grounds following the Port Royal Speedway John H Sheaffer Dodge Pace Truck.

SUNDAY, MAY 25 – Bob Weikert Memorial Finale ($75K to win!)
Donuts for Campers: Morning
Cow Plop Bingo: 10:00 AM (Barn)
Fans who purchased tickets through the first 2 nights can gather at the Ag Barn by the camping area for the official “Cow Plop Bingo” drawing. A cow will be released in the ag barn overtop of a bingo board on the floor. Where ever the cow leavings a “plop” dropping, determines the winner based off their ticket number.

Indy 500 Watch Party: 12:45 PM (Commercial Building)
The gates open early on Sunday to allow fans to gather in the commercial building to watch the Indianapolis 500. There will be giveaways for fans and more to enjoy while watching The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.
Church Service: 1:00 PM (Free Stage)
Track Chaplain Doug Mellott alongside Dirt Racing Outreach will be performing a church service on the fairgrounds free stage. Fans are encouraged to attend and enjoy The Good Word from Chaplain Doug.
PR Fan Zone: 3:00–6:15 PM
Weikert Kids Raffle: 3:00–7:00 PM (Commercial Building)
High Limit Kids Zone: 3:00–5:30 PM (Turn 4)
Kids can gather at the end of the commercial building right outside turn 4 to take part in the Kids’ Zone hosted by High Limit Racing. There will be giveaways and plenty of fan activities for kids to take part in before the action hits the track.

Monday May 26th will be utilized as a rain date if Sunday May 25th rains out.
