Trent Yoder Dominates Wingless Sportsman Main Event Sunday At Port Royal Speedway

Story By: BRAD STRAWSER / PORT ROYAL SPEEDWAY – PORT ROYAL, PA – In wingless super sportsmen competition Sunday evening at the Port Royal Speedway, Trent Yoder would dominate the field to score the victory.
Yoder started in the fourth position of the twenty lap A-main event. He would quickly find himself in the second spot and would trail Troy Rhome for a few laps before getting by him with 15 laps remaining and wouldn’t be challenged the rest of the way to go on for the win.
Tony Jackson would come from his ninth starting position to finish in second and Cliff Brian Jr. would round out the top 3.
Port Royal Speedway will be back in competition on Saturday May 31st with Weikert’s Livestock 410 sprint cars, Penns Valley Meat Market 305 sprint cars, and USAC East Coast wingless sprint cars on Military Appreciation Night. Any fan with military ID will get free admission to The Speed Palace.
