Patrik Daniel Wins Southern States Modified Series Feature At 105 With Last-Lap Pass
Story By: JOSEPH BATES / SOUTHERN STATES MODIFIED SERIES – CLEVELAND, TX – After drawing the Schultz Fueling Technologies Pole Award, Anthony Meek of Markee La., set the pace throughout the entire 20 laps of the caution free Southern States Modified Series main event all except for the final few hundred feet as Patrik Daniel snatched the lead and the win on the final lap.
Outside pole sitter Thomas Holt was third at the checkered flag while 2023 Points Champion Tommy Rascoe was fourth and John Sliney who drew the worst starting spot for the heat races, was moving forward in the main event rounded out the top five.
