Story By: MIKE WARREN / SUPER DIRTCAR SERIES – WEST LEBANON, NY – With the best interest of teams and traveling fans in mind, and weather models showing rain and thunderstorms at Lebanon Valley Speedway on Thursday evening, Super DIRTcar Series and track officials have canceled Mr. DIRT Track USA.

The decision was made after consultation with Precision Weather Service.

This event will not be rescheduled, as Series and track officials were unable to find a viable date.

If you have a wristband from last year’s Mr. DIRT Track USA event that was rained out after Hot Laps, you can use it when the Series returns to Lebanon Valley on Thursday, Aug. 28.

The Super DIRTcar Series returns to action with a two-country doubleheader on June 29-30. First, the Beasts of the Northeast will stop at Cornwall Motor Speedway in Cornwall, ON, for the O’Canada 100 on Sunday, June 29. Then, the Series heads to Mohawk International Raceway in Akwesasne, NY, for the Summer Showdown 75 on Monday, June 30.

Alex Yankowski enters Cornwall with a 24-point lead over defending Series champion Mat Williamson, who won the last time the Series races at Mohawk in 2019. Both drivers aim to stop 10-time champion Matt Sheppard, who’s won the last three Series events at Cornwall.
