Super DIRTCar Series Returns To Mohawk International Raceway For The Summer Shootout 75 On Monday

Story By: ROBERT HILL JR. / MOHAWK INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY – HOGANSBURG, NY – The Mohawk International Raceway is gearing up for one of the biggest events of the 2025 season.
This Monday night, June 30th, the Super DIRTCar Series is back at the 4/10th’s of a mile dirt oval for the first time since 2019, when Mat Williamson picked up the victory en route to his 2019 series championship.
Mohawk has been a track filled with historical winners on the tour. Jimmy Phelps (2010, 2011, 2012) and Matt Sheppard (2010, 2013, 2014) are tied for the most wins at 3 each. Tim Fuller has 2 victories at Mohawk (2017, 2018), and 5 drivers each have 1 victory at MIR: Bob McCreadie (1994), Brett Hearn (1995), Mat Williamson (2019), Billy Decker (2015), and Stewart Friesen (2016). All drivers, with the exception of Brett Hearn and, the late Bob McCreadie, are confirmed to be in attendance to chase another victory in their historical careers.
Other notable drivers expected to be in attendance include series points leader Alex Yankowski, Erick Rudolph, Alex Payne, Mike Mahaney, Felix Roy, Jack Lehner, Anthony Perrego, Peter Britten, Tim Sears Jr., Justin Stone, and Michael Trautschold, among others. We’re also expecting a strong contingent of local drivers, such as Carey Terrance, Chris Raabe, and Brianna Ladoucer, among those confirmed for the Summer Shootout, with many others expected to join the field, including William Racine, Corbin Millar, and Frenchie’s Memorial Cup champion Jarrett Herbison.
The excitement doesn’t end there, as we’ve also got a $1,000-to-win Sportsman feature, $700 to win for the Limited Sportsman, and a $600 to win Open Invitational for the mini-stock class. With the Canada Day holiday the following day, we’re expecting many invaders from north of the border to join us, giving fans great bang for their buck at the action-packed Mohawk International Raceway.
