USAC National Sprints Storm To The Northeast; Rewarding 360 Racers

Story By: KURT BETTLER / USAC – BECHTELSVILLE, PA – One of the most anticipated weeks of the year for open wheel fans in the Northeast is nearly here—the return of the USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Cars!
For the yearly Eastern Storm, the thunder of 410 non-wing sprint cars will roar across some of the region’s most iconic dirt tracks, as national stars go head-to-head with the Northeast’s finest. It’s a high-octane mix of national horsepower and hometown grit—exactly what fans have been waiting for.
But 2025 brings even more to the table. In a show of support for regional teams, USAC has rolled out a special incentive program for Innovative Machine Technology 360 sprint car teams ready to take on the challenge.
At each of the six USAC National Sprint Car events in the Northeast, bonuses will be awarded to top-finishing 360-powered USAC East Coast racers:
- $150 for the highest-finishing 360
- $100 for second
- $50 for third
To qualify, drivers must be USAC members, Utilize a 360/358 engine and the bonuses are in effect at every event on the tour.
The action kicks off Tuesday at Grandview Speedway, followed by Bridgeport Motorsports Park (NJ) on Wednesday. Thursday brings a trip to the heart of the “Skook” at Big Diamond Raceway, then it’s down to the historic half-mile of Williams Grove Speedway on Friday. Saturday, the series hits the show-stopping Port Royal Speedway, and it all wraps up Sunday at Berks County’s baddest bullring—Action Track USA!
Big names like Justin Grant, Logan Seavey, Jake Swanson, and Robert Ballou are already committed to the swing—but they won’t have it easy. A strong contingent of regional talent such as Steven Drevicki, Cameron Smith and Briggs Danner are preparing to defend home turf. With the added 360 bonus, fans can expect a field that’s not only deeper, but more diverse and competitive than ever before.
This isn’t just a race—it’s a reunion. A full-throttle return of high-powered, traditional non-wing sprint car action to a region that has long craved it for the last 365 days!
