Column By: ROBERT SYMONDS / RPW – FISHERS, IN – After Tyler Courtney’s massive wreck at Eldora during High Limit’s  Joker’s Jackpot Thursday evening, a lot of questions emerged including the health of Courtney. A much needed update was released by Courtney’s fiancée which gave every one some positive news. More news emerged early Monday afternoon from Clauson Marshall Racing on social media about Courtney and the near future plans regarding the 7BC.

“We are happy to report that Tyler Courtney had successful back surgery for an injury that occurred at Eldora Speedway on July 17th. Although the injury will take some time to heal, we expect a full recovery and can’t wait to have Tyler back in the NOS Energy 7BC once he is fully healed.

Our plans for the remainder of the 2025 Season:
Lernerville Speedway on 7-22-25: Cole Duncan will drive the NOS Energy 7BC.

For the remainder of the 2025 Season, Gio Scelzi will drive the NOS Energy 7BC.

Thank you for all of the messages of support and especially your patience as we gained a full understanding of Tyler’s injury and went through the process of putting the pieces together for the remainder of the season.

We also wanted to send our thoughts and prayers to Aaron, Brad, and Kalib as they heal up from their injuries that occurred this past week.”
