Snyder Dominates as Rockfish Speedway Roars Back to Life

Story By: ROCKFISH SPEEDWAY – RAEFORD, NC – Rockfish Speedway came alive this past Saturday with a packed house and high-octane action across multiple divisions. The 600 Micro Sprint feature was the crown jewel of the night, and Brody Snyder made sure it was his stage.

Snyder set the fast qualifying time, led every lap of his heat, and then delivered a commanding, wire-to-wire victory in the feature. Despite a couple of cautions, the race stayed clean, and Snyder’s performance was never seriously challenged. This win marks his first at Rockfish since April and his seventh top-five finish of the season.

Tim Nye surged forward with a strategic drive, gaining four spots to finish second—his first top-five at the track this year. Caleb Edington earned “big mover” honors, grinding from 12th to a hard-fought sixth-place finish.

Other Divisional Highlights:

270/Restricted 600 Class: Landon Poulk captured his fifth win of the season at Rockfish, continuing his dominant streak.

Rockfish Junior Sprints: Mason Rosser broke Layne Gerrald’s three-race win streak with a strong drive to his fourth win of the season—his first since April.

Mod Lites: Donovan Jackson took the checkered flag with a smooth and consistent run.

Winged Junior Sprints: Landon Bailey claimed victory in the division’s third race at the track this season. Aliya Snyder continued her impressive form with her third second-place finish.

The next race at Rockfish Speedway is scheduled for October 11, promising another night of tight battles and rising talent. But the real buzz is building around the Winter Classic, set for November 14–15.
