Story By: SPENCE SMITHBACK / WORLD OF OUTLAWS – CONCORD, NC – After a six-win return to the World of Outlaws Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision in 2025, Tim McCreadie is running it back in 2026.

The Watertown, NY native is entering his second season behind the wheel of the Briggs Transport No. 9M looking to continue building his legacy as one of Late Model racing’s all-time greats. The 2006 World of Outlaws champion sits tied for seventh on the all-time wins list with Chris Madden at 39 victories, while he only needs three more to catch Billy Moyer and Bobby Pierce and claim a spot in the top five.

Should McCreadie be able to build on his speed and consistency from the second half of 2025, he could find himself in position to improve on last year’s fourth-place finish in the standings and challenge for a second Series championship. In the final 13 races of last season, McCreadie collected a pair of wins, stood on the podium four times and only finished outside the top 10 twice.

The 2026 schedule features plenty of tracks that are either hosting their first World of Outlaws race or returning from an extended hiatus, and many of them are places that McCreadie knows very well. The July slate will take McCreadie back to his home state for Stateline Speedway’s Rick Briggs Memorial powered by Dave Warren Powersports (July 8), the race honoring the late father of team owner Boom Briggs. Among the other fresh additions to the tour, McCreadie is also a former winner at Volunteer Speedway (March 13), Magnolia Motor Speedway (March 20-21), East Alabama Motor Speedway (March 27) and Selinsgrove Speedway (May 14).

McCreadie will begin his 2026 season at Volusia Speedway Park during DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals (Thursday-Saturday, Jan. 22-24) and Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals (Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 12-14), followed by the Swamp Cabbage 100 at Hendry County Motorsports Park (Friday-Saturday, Feb. 20-21).
