Adam Turner is Fired Up About Plans for his 2026 Racing Season
Column By: Jim Clarke / CLARKE MOTORSPORTS COMMUNICATIONS – PICTON, ON – With the pressures of travel, behind the scenes car preparation and raceday performance, weekly racing can start to feel like a full-time job.
The 43-year-old from Picton, Ontario is looking forward to getting his new season of action underway. While some racers are thinking of scaling back their plans, Turner has a passion for the sport that has seen him pick up rides in other divisions in addition to his own No. 92 Crate Sprint Car program. In many ways, Adam Turner’s quest for chasing racing is a throwback to earlier days of being at the track.
“I really can’t think of anything that I haven’t raced sometime or somewhere over the years,” admitted the multi-generational Prince Edward County speedster. “From Street Stocks to Late Models. Sportsman and Small Block Modifieds. I’ve raced and won in a 4 Cylinder, Street Stock, Vintage Mod, Sportsman-Modified, Late Model and Crate Sprint Car. It isn’t about making money. I’m having a lot of fun and I’ve met some great people over the years.”
With the new schedules getting ready to launch soon, Adam Turner Racing will run weekly on Friday nights at Can Am Speedway and Saturdays at Brockville, where he finished 5th in points and had a couple of wins during the 2025 schedule. The team will also follow the next generation of the Action Sprint Tour and a few other events as his work and family commitments will allow.
Wherever his team travels during the 2026 schedule, Adam Turner Racing is happy to be supported by Village Variety, Maple Bin Services, Dafoe Roofing, Rapid Rad, Angie’s Pooper Pumping Septic Service, BJ McColl Farms, Surprenant Truck Shop, Quinte Auto Glass, R&T Grosse Trucking, Dave’s Moonshine, Gates Graphics, Easton Law, South Buxton Speedway and Clarke Motorsports Communications, with crew members Race Turner, Robert Pounder, Jeff Holmes, Dave Gates and Easton Holmes to keep things together behind the scenes and at the track. Like most short track racing operations, the team is always interested in hearing from potential marketing partners. TurnerRacing92@outlook.com
