5TH Annual Ted Siri Memorial at Outlaw Speedway will see The United Late Model Series make their first of two appearances during the 2026 season
COLUMN BY: Kenny Shupp Jr. / OUTLAW SPEEDWAY – DUNDEE, NY – In what could become the biggest night ever at the Outlaw Speedway on Friday, May 8, 2026, Track Owner/Promoter, Tyler Siri is prepared for an invasion of both fans and race cars.
With NASCAR scheduling the Watkins Glen Cup Weekend much earlier than ever before it has forced Siri to adjust his 2026 schedule accordingly to coincide with the events at nearby Watkins Glen International.
“Generally, we would hold the Ted Sir Memorial and NASCAR Night later in the season, August or September depending on what goes on at Watkins Glen. This year NASCAR is earlier than usual, but the way the schedule works out for us, it might be a perfect fit. The United Late Model Series (ULMS) as well as the CRSA 305 Sprints both had openings on Friday, May 8, which will tie in with our Ted Siri Memorial. With the running of the 5th Annual Ted Siri Memorial for the Friendly Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Modifieds fans will now be treated to Late Models, Sprints and Modifieds all on the same card. Does not get much better than that.” That is according to Tyler Siri.
Without any question the ULMS Super Late Models have blended in very successfully at Outlaw Speedway over the past few seasons, allowing fans the opportunity to see the high-powered Monsters of the Midway compete on Outlaw’s ultra smooth and Fast 4/10 of a Mile Oval.
One of the best races in recent memory was two seasons ago when Dave Hess was able to hold off Drake Troutman in the closing laps to win the ULMS feature event which had the crowd on its feet the entire distance.
“The numbers do not lie as we have had huge fan attendance when the Super Lates come to town. That plus all the positive feedback we receive from the drivers and race fans make this show something we will have on the card every season. In fact, the ULMS Show is so well received we will have them here twice in 2026 as they will return on September 18 as part of the MacMillan Memorial”.
With a winners take of $10,000 it is sure bet that most of the top names in the region that compete in the Super Late Model Division will make their way to Outlaw and with the World of Outlaw Late Model Series currently not in competition that weekend it leaves the door wide open for their followers to come and compete. With Delaware and Selinsgrove both hosting WoW Late Model events the following week on May 13 and 14 it gives their regulars an option to attend a high dollar event at Outlaw.

The Friendly Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Modifieds will also be on the card racing for a winner’s take of $4,321.00 to win the Annual Ted Siri Memorial named in memory of the father of Outlaw Speedway owner, Tyler Siri.
“My dad was a huge fan of racing. He loved Modifieds and he loved the racing at Watkins Glen. No matter what date we run NASCAR Night his name is attached to the event and this year with the $4321 to win it is certain that many of the top names in Modified racing in this region will be here looking to etch their name onto the Ted Siri Memorial Trophy.”
Joining the ULMS Super Late Models and the Mighty Modifieds will be the first of several appearances at Outlaw Speedway in “26” for the CRSA 305 Sprints and if history is to repeat itself a huge field of the Wonderful Winged Things will converge on the Dundee, NY Speedway.
2025 Series Champ and former Outlaw Speedway Crate Sportsman Track Champion, Zach Sobotka will lead the charge of a huge contingent of the 305 brigades as they head to the popular Yates County facility.

Through his highly acclaimed press work, series Public Relations Director Marty Czekala will keep viewers up to date on everything that is going on in and around the CRSA Organization.
Knapp and Schlappi 602 Crate Sportsman will be part of the Ted Siri Memorial NASCAR Night, and they will be joined by Swarthout Recycling Street Stocks.
Traditionally Outlaw Speedway’s NASCAR Night is well attended by many NASCAR Fans that are spending the weekend at nearby Watkins Glen and with the line-up that Siri has put together for this year’s event it could very well be a standing room only crowd.
“Last year on our Fireworks Night we had such a huge crowd here we had to send people to the infield and pit area as the stands were full. With the card of events on Friday, May 8, 2026, it could very well duplicate what we did last year for the Fireworks Extravaganza. With the Super Late Models, Modifieds and CRSA Sprints all on the same card this could very well break all attendance records.”
Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the May 8, 2026, NASCAR Night as quality parking and seating will be at a premium.
Outlaw Speedway offers overnight parking, and fans can bring along their units and spend the night.
Two Beer Concession Stands provide thirsty fans with a wide variety of iced cold beer. The Turn 4 Tavern is located on the Main Grandstand side of the speedway with the Outlaw Saloon pit side.
Food and Beverage Concession areas offer tasty food along with cold soda and water and they open when the gates swing on both sides of the speedway.
2026 Outlaw Speedway Apparel is also available at each race event with current and up to date designs.
Gate times for both Main Grandstand and Pit Area entry along with ticket prices for both front and back gates will be posted in the days leading up to the May 8 show.
