DIRTcar 358 Modified Series Roster Led by Super DIRTcar Series Stars, Up and Coming Competitors

Column By: Mike Warren / SUPER DIRTCAR SERIES – WEEDSPORT, NY  – The quest to become the top 358 Modified driver in the Northeast begins next week, as drivers prepare for a seven-month battle to become the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series champion.

This year’s Series roster features nearly a dozen drivers, ranging from former Series champions, Super DIRTcar Series stars, 358 Modified veterans, and drivers aiming to take the next step in their careers.

Here are the 11 drivers who will race for the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series title in 2026:

Mat Williamson/2X Series Champion/ St. Catharines, ON

“Money Mat” returns to DIRTcar 358 Modified Series competition in 2026 after closing out the 2025 season by winning the final two races. The St. Catharines, ON driver won five of the nine Features last year, scoring victories at Airborne Park Speedway, Fulton Speedway, Weedsport Speedway, Brockville Ontario Speedway, and his third consecutive Salute to the Troops 150 during Super DIRT Week at Oswego Speedway.

Williamson has 20 career Series wins and aims for his third title this season.

Felix Roy/2024 Series Champion/ Napierville, QC

Felix Roy, the 2024 Series champion, is back in search of his second Series title in 2026. While he didn’t earn a Feature win last year, “Hollywood” earned seven top fives and eight top 10s, including a second-place finish in the season finale at Brockville.

Roy is searching for his first career Series victory.

Mike Mahaney/Elizabethtown, NY

Mike Mahaney returns to the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series in 2026 after battling with Williamson and Roy for the top spot throughout most of 2025. The Elizabethtown, NY driver earned a win at Can-Am Speedway in July and had the chance to beat Williamson until a fuel cell vent issue at Albany-Saratoga Speedway took him out of title contention.

“Smooth Shoe” is a two-time Series winner.

Lance Willix/Theresa, NY

After narrowly missing out on the championship in 2024, veteran Small Block campaigner Lance Willix will continue his quest for his first DIRTcar 358 Modified Series championship this season. The Theresa, NY driver had six top 10s in nine starts last year, with his best finish coming at Can-Am (sixth).

Like Mahaney, Willix is a two-time Series Feature winner.

Amy Holland/ Fulton, NY

Amy Holland is back for her fourth full-time season with the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series after a seventh-place finish in 2025. The Fulton, NY driver started all nine races last season and earned her best finish of 11th twice at Airborne and Weedsport.

The Fulton, NY driver also had a stout run in a Big Block last season, earning her first Super DIRTcar Series top five at Brewerton Speedway during SummerFAST.

Andrew Buff/ Latham, NY

Former DIRTcar Sportsman Series champion Andrew Buff is back in 2026 after earning a top five and two top 10s in 2025. His two best finishes came in the first two events of the year, when he finished eighth at Airborne and fifth at Glen Ridge.

Peter Britten/ Brisbane, QLD

Super DIRTcar Series star Peter Britten will again chase a DIRTcar 358 Modified Series crown. The “Batman” earned two top 10s last season, grabbing a sixth at Cornwall Motor Speedway and an eighth at Oswego.

His lone Series victory came at Oswego in 2018 when he won the Salute to the Troops 150.

Steve Lewis/ Ransomville, NY

Western, NY driver Steve Lewis joins the Series in 2026, after making five starts in 2025. The Ransomville, NY driver’s best finish came at Glen Ridge when he finished just outside the top 10 in 11th.

When Lewis isn’t racing his 358 Modified, he’s making starts in the ARCA Series, where he earned a 13th at Daytona International Raceway in 2023.

C.J. Castelletti/ Saquoit, NY

C.J. Castelletti joins the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series for his fourth season of competition. The Sauquoit, NY driver started seven of the nine events in 2025, with his best finishes coming at Glen Ridge and Brockville.

While he doesn’t have a Series victory, Castelletti did score a Feature win at Glen Ridge last August.

Brendan Gibbons/ Amsterdam, NY

For the second straight season, Brendan Gibbons will aim for a DIRTcar 358 Modified Series crown. The Amsterdam, NY driver made three starts last season, earning his best finish at Glen Ridge.

Not only will this season be Gibbons’ second on tour, but it’s also his second in a 358 Modified after five years in a Sportsman.

C.G. Morey/ Rutland, VT

Modified veteran C.G. Morey will aim for a 358 Modified Series crown in 2026 as the lone representative of the Green Mountain State. The Rutland, VT driver will use his knowledge of four years chasing the Super DIRTcar Series to try to propel him into championship contention.

The DIRTcar 358 Modified Series kicks off its 2026 season at Lebanon Valley Speedway in West Lebanon, NY, on Saturday, April 18.
