COLUMN BY: Robert Kenney Jr. / BREWERTON SPEEDWAY – CENTRAL SQUARE, NY  – Brewerton Speedway returned to action Friday night as Thompson & Johnson Equipment presented a full night of racing featuring the Tracey Road DIRTcar Modifieds, Dot Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, AmeriCU Credit Union STARS Mod Lites, Mirabito DIRTcar 4-Cylinders, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman, plus the completion of the postponed May 29 Dot Foods DIRTcar Sportsman feature.

The first of two Sportsman features on the evening saw Riley Rogala drive to victory lane after a strong performance against a competitive field.

The Tracey Road DIRTcar Modified feature appeared to be Kyle Devendorf’s race to lose as he led the opening 33 laps. However, Tim Sears Jr. worked his way through the field from starting 13th and made his move with just two laps remaining. Sears completed the pass and went on to score the feature victory. He also becomes the 6th different winner in 6 races to start this season.

In the AmeriCU Credit Union STARS Mod Lite feature, Anthony Scott jumped out to the early lead and looked poised for the win. Mike Mullen steadily closed the gap in the closing laps before making the winning pass late in the race. The victory was Mullen’s third of the 2026 season.

Chris Bonoffski proved he is the one to look out for in the Mirabito DIRTcar 4-Cylinder Super Stock feature. Starting 10th on the grid, Bonoffski worked his way through the field and collected his 3rd victory of the season.

The E&V Energy Novice Sportsman feature saw Justin Crisafulli lead from the drop of the green flag. Starting from the pole position, Crisafulli paced the field throughout the race to earn the win.

The final feature of the night was the make-up Dot Foods DIRTcar Sportsman event from May 29. Joe Trichilo appeared headed for a comfortable victory, building a 3.7-second advantage over the field. A late caution erased that lead and set up a restart, but Trichilo remained composed and held off the challengers over the final laps to secure the victory.
