MOHAWK VALLEY VINTAGE DIRT MODIFIED SERIES TO HOLD A FRANK TRINKAUS AND KENNY SHOEMAKER MEMORIAL RACING PROGRAM

Saturday, June 13th will be a historical day at the Fonda Speedway with many drivers who paved the speedways path on hand to sign autographs. But all the action will actually start at the Fonda Speedway Hall of Fame & Museum.

For the Mohawk Valley Vintage Dirt Modified Series (MVVDMS), it will be Show Time for the 75th Anniversary celebration of the “Track of Champions” Fonda Speedway. Any MVVDMS drivers who would like to bring their race cars to the Fonda Speedway to represent our racings past may do so as they will be on display outside of the Fonda Speedway Hall of Fame & Museum.

Between 1:30-1:45 the  Mohawk Valley Vintage Dirt Modified Series (MVVDMS) race cars will unload at the Fonda Speedway Hall of Fame & Museum. When the drivers are done unloading, the haulers must go into the MVVDMS pit area on the infield of the historic track. The MVVDMS race car display will start at 2:00 p.m. at the Hall of Fame & Museum.

At 4:30 p.m. the MVVDMS drivers will drive their cars back to the infield pit area to get ready for their racing events in the Frank Trinkaus and Kenny Shoemaker Memorial event! In honor of Trinkaus and Shoemaker, thanks to John Cankar and Melissa Shoemaker Pigliavento, $2,000 will be divided up and paid out to each driver. The amount paid to each driver will be determined on how many cars participate in this special event.

The MVVDMS Vintage cars will compete in all five of their regular divisions including in no particular order the Antiques, Mystiques, Late Models, Sportsman, and Modifieds.
