Madsen Overhead Doors Back To Back Challenge Returns To Albany-Saratoga For 2026
COLUMN BY: Toby LaGrange / ALBANY-SARATOGA SPEEDWAY – MALTA, NY – The Albany-Saratoga Speedway is happy to announce that one of our special programs will be continuing in 2026, thanks to one member of our family of sponsors.
The Madsen Overhead Doors Back-to-Back Challenge will offer bonus money to any driver that can win back-to-back feature events in the DIRTcar Modified, DIRTcar 358 Modified and DIRTcar Sportsman divisions.
Any DIRTcar Modified driver who can win back-to-back features will receive a $500 bonus while any DIRTcar 358 Modified driver will earn a $300 bonus. If a DIRTcar Sportsman driver can win back-to-back events, they will earn a $250 bonus.
So far in the 2026 season two drivers have claimed the bonus money – Mike Mahaney (DIRTcar 358 Modified) and Chris Crane, Jr. (DIRTcar Sportsman).

The Albany-Saratoga Speedway returns to action on Friday, July 3rd with all weekly divisions in action plus fireworks. Pit gates open at 3pm, grandstand gates open at 5pm with hot laps rolling off at 6pm. Racing is set to begin at 7pm.
