Information By: SHORT TRACK SUPER SERIES – GEORGETOWN, DE – Ryan Godown Jr. started 19th and drove his way to the lead on a lap 15 restart, getting by first place runner Joe Toth and never looked back, taking the win in the Short Track Super Series South Region Sportsman finale Saturday night at the Georgetown Speedway.
Godown’s win came in the track’s Mid-Atlantic Championship weekend. Eric Kormann was second and veteran Ray Swinehart came home third.
While leading early, Toth faded late due to mechanical issues but still came home 10th and locked up both the Series and track championships on the same night.
