Kevin Thomas is known for solving complex problems with simple, high-quality solutions. He spent the first 11 years of his career as an architectural project manager before starting his own general contracting business, which included designing and building facilities for the oil and gas industry, commercial enterprises, and the federal government.
Kevin retired in 2020 to spend more time with his family but couldn’t sit still for long and started inventing solution-oriented products. It began with a panelized hunting blind for his wife, Kristen, who wanted a place to take pictures while Kevin hunted.
He expanded this concept to create cost-effective, rapidly deployable modular buildings that provide solutions for EMS, military, disaster relief, and people experiencing homelessness. He further customized the modular units for the military to offer protection from gunfire. When the Uvalde tragedy happened, Kevin modified the design to create the Rapid Access Safe Room, RASR, with pull-out walls that can be activated in 10 seconds to save lives.
A tireless entrepreneur, Kevin continues to create solutions-based products for a wide range of industries including motorsports, outdoors and security.

Cullman, Alabama native Kevin Thomas, Jr. is a current USAC National Sprint Car and national touring winged sprint car driver. Starting his career in 2007, he has racked up over 100+ wins across the country, spanning multiple divisions in motorsports.
After 17 years in racing, he has experienced the ups and downs of the sport. The winning is what he strives for, but the dangers in the day to day of his activity cannot be overlooked.
Known as “KT” to anyone around him, he has recently moved into an entrepreneurial role, launching a new product with Inferno Armor.
While his desire to win races hasn’t ceased, Kevin’s drive to provide safety for his fellow racers, crew members, fans, and the public had grown incrementally. His passion in the motorsports industry is being translated to his passion for a safer environment to those around him.
Fire has a long lasting impact on people’s lives if not handled properly. Inferno Armor is intended to create a safer atmosphere for everyone involved, and Kevin is excited to be a part of the Inferno Armor journey.
