Smith, who is second in the Arctic Cat All Star driver championship standings, earned a starting spot in Saturday night’s A-main by clocking the fastest time of the night during his respective group of qualifiers, ultimately finishing fourth during heat three of four.
“It was a solid night for the team. Top-ten finishes are important, so we’ll never complain,” Ryan Smith said, pilot of the Tom and Sherry Leidig/Warko Group/Specialty Rigging/Rick’s Auto Body/No. 59. “We have one weekend left on our All Star schedule. I think our best bet is to continue what we’ve been doing and end the year on a few solid notes. I’m proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish this season. It has been a blast.”
Ryan Smith will end his 2017 Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions campaign with a pair of programs in the Buckeye State, this time visiting Mansfield Motor Speedway and Eldora Speedway on Friday and Saturday, October 13-14.
