Story By: MEGAN DUPUY / WOODHULL RACEWAY – WOODHULL, NY – Spring has finally made an appearance here at the Woodhull Raceway. April 6 will be the first of two open practice sessions being held. Many people got to see the racecars at the Swarthout’s Recycling Arnot Mall Show but now it’s time to see the cars in action.
Starting at 5:00 p.m. cars from any track can come test and tune at ‘New York’s Toughest Bullring’. The session will run until 9:00. Everyone is welcome to join; pit admission will be $15 while the grandstands will be free.
This will be one of two practice sessions. The second practice session will be held April 13. Racers and fans are encouraged to come out and kick off spring and get excited for the upcoming race season. The season opener is slated for April 20.

Woodhull Raceway can be found in Woodhull, NY, just 30 minutes West of Corning, NY, competing weekly on Saturday nights from mid-April all the way until Labor Day Weekend. The track offers numerous special events including the Patriot Sprint Tour 360 Sprints and the Short Track Super Series Modifieds in early-August.
