Story By: DAVE MEDLER / BREWERTON SPEEDWAY – BREWERTON, NY – This Friday, July 5 some of the best 360 Sprint Car racers in the Northeast plus Ontario, Canada and Quebec, Canada will converge on the Brewerton Speedway to do battle on the ‘D-Shaped Dirt Demon’ when the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints Donath Motor Worx & Sterling Lubricants Speedweek is in town presented by A-Verdi Storage Containers.
Joining the winged warriors from ESS will be the ground pounding 800 horsepower Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds, DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, U.S Air Force Mod Lites. The 4-Cylinders have the night off.
Adult grandstand admission will be $22 and everyone 18 years old and younger will have free grandstand admission. Pit admission will be one price of $35. Grandstands will open at 5:30 pm with racing at 7:30 pm.
The 2018 version of the Empire Super Sprints Speedweek would see it take four heats, dash and two B-Mains to set the starting field. Steve Poirier would outrun Chuck Hebing, Larry Wight, Jason Barney and Danny Varin for the exciting A-Main win.

In the tough and competitive Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds, there has yet to be a repeat feature winner during the 2019 season at the Speedway. Pat Ward became the sixth different winner with his victory on Friday, June 28.
