Story By: STEVEN OVENS / CRSA – SODUS, NY – One of the first signs of motorsports life in the Northeast comes to the green flag this weekend in Syracuse, NY. The Syracuse Motorsports Expo will draw race fans far and wide Saturday and Sunday for an event filled with shiny racecars, vendors and an opportunity to collect all of their favorite track/series schedules.

The Expo will be held Saturday March 12 and Sunday March 13. Fans will flock to the Center of Progress Building on the property of the New York State Fairgrounds.

The Super Gen Products with Champion Power Equipment CRSA Sprints will be present along with their sister series, the A-Verdi Storage Containers Patriot Sprint Tour.

The sprint car themed booth will include 2021 and now three-time series champion Jeff Trombley. Trombley’s mount owned and prepared by Warren Alexson will be flanked by the youth movement of the series in Jordan Hutton (66), Ethan Gray (17E) and newcomer and graduate of the Tobias Slingshots- 14-year-old Calvin Wheelock.

CRSA Sprints drivers can turn in their 2022 Membership applications for a discounted price this weekend until the Expo closes on Sunday afternoon.

Pennsylvania Posse fans will have something to admire this weekend in the PST/CRSA. Familiar name in sprint car racing in the Empire State, Lee Sanders, plans to display his Fred Rahmer #88 Miller Bros. Chevrolet restoration. The J&J Chassis restored by Sanders will be a must see during the Expo.
