Story By: DIRT MODIFIED NOSTALGIA TOUR – FORT JOHNSON, NY – The Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour will race every weekend throughout the remainder of October, as the 2022 season winds down. A good mix of American and Canadian drivers & cars are expected to participate on all three dates.
On Saturday, October 15, the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour will hold its final pont awarding program as they take part in the Fall Foliage Weekend at the Brewerton Speedway. This race at the 3/8 mile D-Shaped Dirt Demon located at 60 US Route 11 in Central Square, N.Y. will be the final point show of 2022 for the DMNT, with the championship still up for grabs. Brewerton Speedway will open pit gates & grandstand gates at 2:00 pm., with hot laps taking place at 3:30 pm., and racing at 4:00 pm. Also on the program is the 180 Flood Properties Fall Foliage 200 lap $2,000 to win enduro for 4 & 6 cylinder cars and a $500 to win 4 cylinder open.
On Saturday, October 22, the DMNT will race at the Outlaw Speedway in Dundee, N.Y.. This will be night #2 of Outlaw’s annual Dutch Hoag Memorial Weekend. Formerly known as both Dundee Speedway & Black Rock Speedway. Outlaw is celebrating its 65th.year anniversary of auto racing at the 4/10 mile semi-banked clay oval, located 12 miles north of Watkins Glen, in the heart of New York’s Finger Lakes Region. This will be a non-point event for DMNT. Also sharing the program will be modifieds, sportsman, hobby stocks, and 600cc modifieds.
The DMNT will close out the 2022 racing season on Saturday, October 29 at Skyline Raceway Motorsports Park, during their Halloween Havoc Night. A 3/8 mile semi-banked clay oval located in Virgil, N.Y. Skyline is located on the east end of the Finger Lake Region, just off of Rt. 81, a short distance from Cortand to the north and Binghamton to the south.This will be a non-point event for DMNT.
