Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / CJB MOTORSPORTS – CARLISLE, PA – After what proved to be a successful venture since joining CJB Motorsports and Spencer Bayston at the midpoint of the 2022 World of Outlaws season, TrueTimber Camo, the world’s best-selling camo brand, will return to the Carlisle, Pennsylvania-based motorsports program in 2023, continuing a combined quest in not only introducing TrueTimber Camo’s variety and selection to sprint car fans from coast to coast, but ultimately track down a World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series championship.
Based in Inman, South Carolina, TrueTimber offers an extensive line of apparel and accessories, all of which researched and tested to assure effective and lifelike camo patterns. Like 2022, Bayston’s CJB Motorsports No. 5 will showcase a variety of TrueTimber Camo patterns during the new year including the currently featured RipTide, which will make its official debut during the World of Outlaws opener at Volusia Speedway Park in DeLeon Springs, Florida, on Thursday, February 9.
“We’re thrilled to continue our relationship with TrueTimber Camo. This partnership has proved beneficial to both parties, and I’m confident their support will ultimately help us contend for a World of Outlaws championship,” said Chad Clemens, owner of CJB Motorsports. “We’re fortunate to have the opportunity to compete in front of such a compassionate and brand loyal fanbase, and it’s their return support for TrueTimber that makes this relationship work. I’m confident only big things are ahead for this team.”
“We are so excited to be onboard the No. 5 car again this year and we are looking forward to another great season,” said TrueTimber CEO Rusty Sellars. “Spencer and the CJB team connected us to so many new fans in 2022 and really helped grow our footprint in the World of Outlaws arena. It was exciting to see Spencer earn the Rookie of the Year title and have so much success last year and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for him and the rest of the team.”
Welcome Rothco As Primary Partner For 2023
CJB Motorsports and 2022 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year award winner, Spencer Bayston, are pleased to welcome Rothco as a primary partner for the 2023 season, set to make their official debut during the World of Outlaws lid lifter at Volusia Speedway Park in DeLeon Springs, Florida, on Thursday, February 9.
A surefire benefit to both entities, CJB Motorsports and Rothco will not only collaborate in bringing success to Bayston’s sophomore campaign with the Greatest Show On Dirt, but they will work together in attracting an all-new market toward America’s foremost wholesale supplier of military, tactical and outdoor products. Headquartered in Ronkonkoma, New York, Rothco’s catalog promotes an extensive selection featuring, but not limited to, clothing, outerwear, headwear, footwear, as well as bags and packs.
“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Rothco to the CJB Motorsports family,” said Chad Clemens, owner of the familiar CJB Motorsports No. 5. “I’m confident we will do our part in promoting their brand to fans from coast to coast, all while competing at the highest level and ultimately contending for a World of Outlaws championship. We hope to build on this relationship and work toward even bigger opportunities in the future. I think I speak for everyone when I say I’m ready to get started.”
As mentioned, Rothco and CJB Motorsports will make their competitive debut at Volusia Speedway Park, activating their 2023 World of Outlaws title chase with three straight nights of competition in Volusia Speedway Park’s annual DIRTcar Nationals.
An impressive rookie campaign nonetheless, Bayston and CJB Motorsports acquired 39 top-ten finishes in 2022 with two victories along the way – Bristol Motor Speedway and Cedar Lake Speedway. Bristol’s triumph earned the team a $25,000 payday.
“We are pleased to introduce race fans to the iconic Rothco brand through this partnership with CJB motorsports,” said Scott Sincerbeaux, Rothco’s Chief Executive Officer. “With apparel, footwear and gear in the Military, Tactical, Work and Outdoor categories, we believe our partnership will help us expand the Rothco brand presence to race fans across the country. Chad, Barry, Spencer and the CJB Motorsports team are a formidable operation and we look forward to our partnership.”
