Mohawk International Raceway Makes Change For 2023; Drops DIRTcar Sanction For Track

Story By: MOHAWK INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY – HOGANSBURG, NY – With the new racing season almost upon us, we’d love to let everyone know some big news that’s going on here at Mohawk International Raceway.

For several years, we’ve run under the DIRTcar banner. In 2023, we’ve decided to make a change and MIR will be running as an independent track.

We’re looking to try and make our track stronger while helping our racers make it through the season as best as they could.

For the 358-Modified, Sportsman and Pro Stock teams, we will continue to follow the DIRTcar rules, although we won’t be enforcing the new engine & weight specifications for the 602 Crate divisions.

We look forward to seeing you this year and hope for an amazing 2023 season at Mohawk International!
