Information By: XR SUPER SERIES – NORFOLK, NE – Ricky Thornton Jr showed up and thrilled the RTJ faithful at the Off Road Speedway Tuesday night, picking up the XR Super Series Elkhorn 100 before a record crowd.
It was a thrilling race and ended with a $100,000 payday for the SSI Motorsports team.
Bobby Pierce brought the 32 home in P2 after a hard fought battle with Thornton during the 100-lapper. Pierce now assumes the XR Super Series point lead heading into the Superior Showcase at Gondik Law Speedway.
Kyle Bronson brought the 40B home on the podium with a hard-fought third in the $100K finale. Brandon Sheppard and Daulton Wilson were fourth and fifth, respectively.
