Information By: LEBANON VALLEY SPEEDWAY – WEST LEBANON, NY – Attention Lebanon Valley Speedway current Pure Stock / Street Stock drivers and teams.
After listening to many people’s ideas and constructive points of views, we decided to have a meeting Monday night to discuss what to do for the 2024 season and moving forward.
During the conversation, we have decided to take a different route and steer away from the previously-mentioned “Limited Pro Stock” division and move towards the direction of a “Super Stock” division.
This change will bring along a few changes to the current rules, but open them up enough so that teams from other tracks will be able to come race at The Valley in the hopes of moving forward in a positive manner and grow the division as a whole.
Rules will be posted well before the swap meet in order to help teams get the parts they need as quickly as possible.
We would like to personally thank the group that sat down on Monday and assisted with how to help this class and make it more affordable and fair for the everyday race team.
“Tonight definitely showed what racing is all about,” Pit Stewart Ryan Hogencamp said. “It also showed why myself and others help in the capacity that we all do.”
There are going to be people that agree with this decision and disagree. For those that do, thank you for your support and let keep pushing forward to a common goal. Those that don’t, we’re sorry you feel this way but your options matter as well, as long as constructive.
Any questions, please direct them to pit steward Ryan Hogencamp.
