The annual Delaware State Dirt Track Championship, a staple of autumn on Delmarva, returns to November in 2023 when BD Motorsports Media LLC presents a two-day event at Delaware International Speedway in Delmar, Del., Friday-Saturday Nov. 17-18.
Eleven feature events for nine divisions highlight the program which is headlined by twin 40-lap events paying up to $7,000 to win for the Millman’s NAPA Auto Parts Modifieds and Stockley Speed & Supply Super Late Models.
Millman’s NAPA Auto Parts Modifieds compete in hot laps and qualifying heat races Friday (Nov. 17), with consolations and the 40-lap main on Saturday (Nov. 18). Drivers can take home more than $7,000 by posting the “Gambler’s Fee” prior to qualifying.
Stockley Speed & Supply Super Late Models time trial and compete in heat races on Friday (Nov. 17) with the 40-lap feature on Saturday (Nov. 18). Like their Modified counterparts, Super Late Models can take home more than $7,000 with the “Gambler’s Fee” posted.
Spec Small-Block Modifieds make their first ’23 appearance at Delaware International with heat races and a 30-lap feature on Friday (Nov. 17) paying up to $5,000 to the winner with the “Gambler’s Fee” posted.
Blue Hen Dispose-All Crate 602 Sportsman are in competition with practice on Friday (Nov. 17, offering a guaranteed redraw position) and all qualifying and a 25-lap feature paying $1,500 to the winner on Saturday (Nov. 17).
Crate Late Models race in qualifying heats and a 20-lap feature for $1,000 on Saturday (Nov. 18), preceded by practice offering a guaranteed redraw position on Friday (Nov. 17).
Both the Delaware Super Trucks and Delmarva Chargers take part in 12-lap features on both days of the weekend.
Southern Delaware Vintage Stock Cars (Friday, Nov. 17) and Little Lincolns (Saturday, Nov. 18) are single-day participants.
On Nov. 17, all gates open at 3 p.m. Hot laps begin at 6:20 p.m., with racing at 7:15 p.m.
Admission is $25 (Adults), $20 for Seniors (ages 65 and up) & Students (ages 13-17). Kids (ages 9-12) pay $10 and Children 8 and under are FREE.
Pit admission is $40 (Non-Members), $35 (NASCAR Members), $10 Kids (ages 6-12) and $2 for Children (ages 5 and under).
On Nov. 18, all gates open at noon. Hot laps begin at 3 p.m., with racing to follow at 4 p.m.
Admission is $30 (Adults), $25 for Seniors (ages 65 and up) & Students (ages 13-17). Kids (ages 9-12) pay $10 and Children 8 and under are FREE.
Pit admission is $45 (Non-Members), $40 (NASCAR Members), $10 Kids (ages 6-12) and $2 for Children (ages 5 and under).
Weekend passes are also available. Grandstand passes are $50 (Adults), $40 for Seniors (ages 65 and above) & Students (ages 13-17), $15 for Kids (ages 9-12) and Children 8 and under are FREE all weekend.
Weekend pit passes are available at $80 (ages 13 and up) and $75 for NASCAR Members, $20 for Kids (ages 6-12) and $4 Children for 5 and under.
