Story By: KALI LANDIS / BAPS MOTOR SPEEDWAY – YORK HAVEN, PA – After a successful end to the 2023 season, the management team at BAPS Motor Speedway is finalizing plans to make next year even better.
Speedway owner Scott Gobrecht and General Manager Kolten Gouse will embark on their ninth season at the historic York Haven facility. An aggressive schedule is being put in place, with the first date ready for release.
The 70th season at the historic facility will kick off on March 16 with the Tyson Fence Season Opener. It will feature the Super Sportsman, Late Models, Legends, and an open practice. Start time for racing is 4 p.m.
“We are looking forward to another successful season at BAPS Motor Speedway,” Gouse said. “It was a pretty good 2023 season, and we are putting together what we hope is another good slate of events for next year.
“There could be some surprises for fans in the area. We will see how things develop, but we look forward to providing family entertainment for people of all ages in 2024.”
Kenny Edkin is the defending champion of this event. Pits gates for this event open at 1 p.m., with grandstands opening at 2 p.m. Adults are $15, with senior admission set at $13. Students are $5.
