Madsen Overhead Doors takes over the title partnership of the ’24 STSS Crate 602 Sportsman North Region, which will run six races at four different tracks across New York State.
Based in Spencertown, N.Y., Madsen Overhead Doors is a recognizable name in the Northeast Modified racing community and will join forces with the growing STSS brand in its 11th season of competition.
Madsen Overhead Doors – family owned and operated for four generations since 1954 – celebrates its 70th anniversary in business in ‘24.
Madsen Overhead Doors offers residential, commercial, industrial, and loading dock equipment along with all garage door needs. A fleet of 18 sales, service, and installation trucks are equipped daily for installations and service.
Madsen Overhead Doors covers the Capital District of New York, parts of the Hudson Valley, the Berkshires of Massachusetts, Litchfield County, Conn., Bennington County, Vt., and surrounding areas.
“After 40 years in dirt Modified racing and celebrating more than 300 wins as car owners, we have encountered many partners and friends along the way,” Brian Madsen offered. “Joining the Short Track Super Series for the first time in 2024 is just another way to give a small piece back to the sport that has been very good to us all these years.”

Upper Makefield, Pa.’s Joe Toth was the ’23 STSS Crate 602 Sportsman North Region Champion, his first North Region Championship in his career.
The STSS Crate 602 Sportsman Madsen Overhead Doors North Region gets underway on Tuesday, May 14 at N.Y.’s Accord Speedway.
