All of us at Race Pro Weekly are deeply saddened at the loss of Art Lentini, former racer and proprietor of Art’s Radiator.
Art was a friend to many in this sport and his passing is being felt by the entire racing community.
His business has been in business for over 30 years with generations of experience, becoming a trusted name in the racing industry.
Orange County Fair Speedway Modified competitor Craig Mitchell made a statement about Art on social media after learning the news. Quite honestly, it was the perfect sentiment.
“Art Lentini was the nucleus of our racing community. If someone needed something, had a question or needed to get a hold of someone, you would call Art. If Art didn’t have the answer, he would hook you up with someone that could help you, be it Modifieds, Sprints, Dirt Late Models or honestly any form of Racing. Art and I have been friends for over 30 years, way before I started racing. He even nicknamed my daughter when she was born. He said, ”we will call her Splinter, because she is a small piece of Wood!” Art, you will be greatly missed!”
Please keep his family and friends in your prayers at this difficult time.
