Career First Short Track Super Series Win For James Friesen Thursday At All-Tech Raceway

Story By: CHRIS MOORE / SHORT TRACK SUPER SERIES – LAKE CITY, FL – In Short Track Super Series Crate 602 Sportsman competition Thursday at All-Tech Raceway, St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada’s James Friesen claimed his first career win on the series, topping the 25-lap event.
Friesen got by Payton Talbot in the early going and held off the young gun for the remainder of the race – despite multiple challenges – to take the win.
Talbot came home second with Dylan Madsen, Kenny Peoples Jr., and Brian Calabrese rounding out the top five.
Racing continues Friday night with a 40-lap, $8,000-to-win STSS Modified main and the $2,500-to-win, 30-lap ‘Shirley Shootout’ Crate 602 Sportsman event.
