The upcoming season, which begins on Saturday, May 11, will commence the 95th anniversary season at the 3/8/-mile Hartford, Ohio clay oval.
The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Big-Block Modifieds will make six appearances in 2024 including June 1, June 15, August 3, August 10, August 17 for the “Lou Blaney Memorial”, and September 6-7 for the “Apple Festival Nationals”. Returning sponsors to make these events possible for the ground pounders include King Bros. Ready Mix Concrete, Russ King Racing, King’s Sanitary Service, and Autism Awareness, while Thermo Supply will join as a new marketing partner for 2024. Located in nearby West Middlesex, Pa., Thermo Supply specializes in geothermal and radiant heating systems and design.
The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply UMP Modifieds will make five stops in 2024 including June 22, July 20, August 10, August 24, and September 6 thanks to the support of A&MP Electric, which is owned by veteran UMP Mod racer Mike Potosky.
The Whelen Econo Mods will open their season on May 11 for their first of 10 appearances in 2024. Coming on board to enhance the division’s weekly payoff and their 2024 special events is Alcon Mechanical. The Niles, Ohio company with president John Deraway is a fully licensed contractor performing process piping, plumbing, HVAC/hydronics and fire protection.
