Getting Ready For Exciting 2024 Racing Action At Brockville Ontario Speedway

Story By: JIM CLARKE / BROCKVILLE ONTARIO SPEEDWAY – BROCKVILLE, ONT – Time is winding down as the 2024 season opener at Brockville Ontario Speedway draws near.
In a history-making campaign, this year’s schedule will mark 30 years at the promotional helm of the popular Southeastern Ontario venue for the Kirkland family. To recognise the occasion, ‘The BOS’ will offer a $30,000 point fund for drivers who call the facility on Temperance Lake Road their Saturday night home. Paul Kirkland says his team is pulling out all the stops to make it a memorable year.
“We’ve been working hard since the final checkered flag of last year’s Northeast Fall Nationals and can’t wait to launch the new schedule,” explained Kirkland. “The shows our fans want to see will be in the line-up, including the Ogilvie’s Auto & Fleet Triple Crown Series for Small Block and Sportsman-Modifieds, with opening round slated for Saturday, May 18th. The return of the Big Block Modified Super DIRTcar Series – along with Sportsman and touring NLMA Late Models – will take centre stage Wednesday, July 24th.”
Paul Kirkland says that fans of Sprint Car racing will get a healthy helping of their brand of motorsports excitement this year. In addition to weekly action with the Surprenant Truck Shop 602 Crate Sprinters, the Empire Super Sprints will be back on the bill. After last year’s return – for the first time since Steve Porier’s 2019 win – was rained-out, the ESS teams will be on the schedule for a pair of shows – Saturday, June 22nd and August 3rd – on the 2024 agenda.
Be sure to check-out this year’s 358 Modified Sail Panel and Outlaw 200 Mini Series events Saturday, June 8th and August 17th. Eastern Ontario Vintage Stock Car Club has regular season dates May 25th, July 13th and August 10th, along with both nights of the Fall Nationals, October 18th and 19th. Street Stocks will have 8 shows – starting Saturday, May 18th – on the 2024 Brockville Speedway schedule, with Mini Stocks running on alternating Saturday nights.
From Saturday, May 11th to August 31st, staff has planned 17 straight weekends of thrilling local short track action at Brockville Ontario Speedway. Catch the 2024 excitement and join the 30th anniversary of promotion by the Kirkland family.
