Story By: NICK GRAZIANO / WORLD OF OUTLAWS – EASTABOGA, AL – After a successful debut at the Talladega Short Track last year, the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Models return to the Alabama track for the two-day Alabama Gang 100.
Located across the road from the Talladega Superspeedway – which will be hosting the NASCAR Cup Series the same weekend – the Talladega Short Track will host the best Late Model drivers in the country for $4,000-to-win split shows on Friday, setting up the $35,000-to-win finale on Saturday.
Brandon Overton, Tanner English and Kyle Bronson opened the show last year with wins during the split Feature action. That set the stage for a thrilling 60-lap Saturday Feature, which saw multiple lead changes, close quarters racing, and Overton walking away with the grand prize.
The United Sprint Car Series will join the World of Outlaws Late Models again both nights. Last year’s USCS races were won by 2023 Daytona 500 champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
