Tim McCreadie & Rocket1 Racing Score Pair Of Top 10’s During Illini 100 Weekend

Story By: BEN SHELTON / ROCKET1 RACING – SHINNSTON, WV – Tim McCreadie raced to a pair of Top-10 finishes with his Valvoline / Seubert Calf Ranches No. 1 Rocket1 Racing / Ace Metal Works / XR1 Rocket Chassis / Durham Racing Engine Super Late Model over the weekend at Farmer City Raceway’s Illini 100.
McCreadie finished fifth in Friday’s $10,000-to-win program before recording a seventh-place finish in Saturday’s $20,000-to-win finale.
“We moved forward in Friday’s feature, and then just kind of maintained there on Saturday night. We need to find a little more speed early in the night to start closer to the front in the features, but I know we’ll get there. It was another good weekend for me and the team to work together and we made gains every time we hit the track,” McCreadie said.
Rocket1 Racing and Tim McCreadie returned to action over the weekend in the Midwest as Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway hosted the World of Outlaws (WoO) Case Late Model Series for the annual Illini 100 weekend.

Chasing the $10,000 payday in Friday’s opener, Tim advanced forward six spots in in the 40-lap affair to register a fifth-place finish. He trailed Nick Hoffman, Bobby Pierce, Cade Dillard, and Tyler Erb in the final rundown.
On Saturday, Tim raced into the $20,000-to-win Illini 100 finale with a runner-up showing in his heat race. Receiving the seventh-starting position via the redraw, McCreadie rolled to a consistent seventh-place finish in the 60-lapper.
The team plans to be idle this weekend before resuming Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) competition on April 26 – 28 with a Northeast tripleheader. The weekend includes events at Georgetown (Del.) Speedway, Hagerstown (Md.) Speedway, and Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway,
