Story By: BEN SHELTON / COMP CAMS SUPER DIRT SERIES – CONWAY, AR – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series returns to competition this weekend – June 14 -15 – at Johnny Stokes’ Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) with the 2024 edition of the Clash at the Mag.
The weekend includes a $5,000-to-win program on Friday and $12,000-to-win finale on Saturday.
Morgan Bagley holds honor of being the Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man with a seven-point advantage atop the standings over Logan Martin. Kyle Beard, Jon Mitchell, B.J. Robinson, Clayton Stuckey, Scott Crigler, Jon Kirby, Tyler Stevens, and Brandon Ball round out the latest standings.
Meanwhile, Ball resides atop the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year competition with a 12-point lead on Austin Vincent.
Through seven events there have been six different winners with Tyler Stevens, Morgan Bagley, Logan Martin, Clayton Stuckey, Stormy Scott and Bobby Pierce all going to Edelbrock Victory Lane. Stevens is the lone driver to pick up more than one win so far this year with his two triumphs.
The Clash at The Mag weekend opens with an Open Practice Session on Thursday evening from 7 – 10 p.m. Thursday grandstand admission is free. Thursday pit admission (ages 11-and-up) is $25 with kids (ages 6-10) $15, and children (ages 5-and-under) free. A three-day pit pass is available for $100 (ages 11-and-up) and $70 for children (ages 6-10)
On Friday, June 4 a $5,000-to-win CCSDS program is on tap. Joining the night’s action are Street Stocks ($600-to-win), Factory Stocks ($500-to-win), Crate Racin’ USA Modifieds ($500-to-win), and Hot Shots. The driver’s meeting is at 6:30 p.m. with on-track action at 7:30 p.m.
Friday grandstand admission is $25 (ages 11-and-up) with children (ages 6-10) $5 and kids (ages 5-and-under) free. A two-day grandstand ticket is available for $50. Friday pit admission (ages 11-and-up) is $35 with children (ages 6-10) $25 and kids (ages 5-and-under) free.
Saturday’s program is headlined by a complete $12,000-to-win Super Late Model program. Also in action are Street Stocks ($1,000-to-win), Factory Stocks ($500-to-win), Crate Racin’ USA 604 Late Models ($1,000-to-win), and 602 Late Model Sportsman ($600-to-win).The driver’s meeting is at 6 p.m. with on-track action at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday grandstand admission is $30 (ages 11-and-up) with children (ages 6-10) $5 and kids (ages 5-and-under) free. Saturday pit admission (ages 11-and-up) is $40 with children (ages 6-10) $30 and kids (ages 5-and-under) free.
Weekend 4-wheeler, ATV, dirt bike, etc passes are $25.
The CCSDS Super Late Model tire rule for the weekend is as follows:

- Right Front Tire and Left Rear Tire: NLMT2 (90), NLMT3 (90)
- Right Rear Tire: NLMT3 (92)
